But as we’ll see in this Lovense Ferri review, the Ferri is discreet and stays inconspicuous. However, the being “happy” part stays true everywhere, I guess.
Lovense Ferri is the brand’s newest little toy, designed as a wearable clitoral vibrator. It’s great for fun and pleasure, and has features that seem exactly what we’d want from a vibrator.

What Will I Find Inside The Box?
My Lovense Ferri arrived in a plain and discreet package. There were no markings on the packaging to indicate the contents.
Once the external packing is removed, it leads straight to the Lovense box with the Ferri. There’s nothing special or notable about the box – it’s just a normal packaging box. Once you open the box, you’ll find the following contents:
- Lovense Ferri panty vibrator
- Magnetic charging cable
- A storage bag (black satin)
- Two magnetic clips (one is an extra just in case you lose the original)
- User manual
- Quick setup guide
I’m satisfied with the contents of the packaging. It has everything you’d need to use and enjoy this vibrator. I would’ve preferred if a wall charger was present, but it appears everyone’s following Apple’s lead and have given up on including adapters.
Lovense Ferri Build And Design
Lovense Ferri vibrators have their external body coated in two materials. The side of the vibrator that comes in contact with the body is entirely coated in silicone. On its other side, you’ll find some use of ABS plastic as well.
Both of these materials are body-safe, non-toxic, and non-porous. These materials can be expensive, but they make the vibrator better and more hygienic.
Ferri is tiny, which helps it stay discreet. The vibrator is barely three inches in length and about an inch wide. At its thickest, it’s less than an inch thick.
This vibrator is not meant for internal use. Lovense Ferri is all about clitoral stimulation as a wearable vibrator. It handles that part admirably with deep and exciting vibrations.
One reason it does so well with clitoral stimulation is because it attaches securely and stays in place. The way it does this is very simple and very impressive. The key is magnets!

As I noted with the unpacking of the Ferri box, there are two magnetic clips available with the Ferri. These clips help keep the vibrator at the right spot.
When you want to use the Ferri, remove the clip from the vibrator. The user should be wearing panties at least – after all, this is a panty vibrator. Place the vibrator where you want it and then place the magnetic clip on the outside of the panties.
As the magnet gets hold of the Ferri, it also attaches firmly to the fabric of the panties. This forms a very convenient and dependable way to hold the Lovense Ferri in place.
I find this much better than the conventional approach of panty vibrators, where they use specially crafted panties with pockets to hold the vibrator.
Lovense Ferri doesn’t need the user to wear special panties. You can wear whatever you like and the Ferri will attach itself to the fabric without a problem.
I like this freedom to wear whatever I want, rather than picking specialized underwear for the vibrator. It may not feel like a big deal, but it’s a small win – and they matter!
The only downside to the magnetic approach of the Ferri is that the magnetic clips are tiny. There is always a chance of losing them. It might be possible to buy a small, strong magnet and have it work as a solution.
Currently, Lovense also offers additional Ferri magnetic caps in its store. That’s a relief and probably a more convenient option for many of us.
Other Notable Aspects Of The Lovense Ferri
Waterproofing
Lovense Ferri is rated IPX7 waterproof. This means that the toy can be submerged in water without the risk of damage. It can withstand staying underwater for 30 minutes and up to a depth of 1 meter.
I find waterproofing to be a useful feature for several reasons. For one, it means more freedom for use of the vibrator. It’s possible to use this vibrator in a swimming pool and while wearing a bikini.
Similarly, it’s possible to use it in the shower or bathtub as well. Although, keep in mind that this is a panty vibrator. If you aren’t wearing any, the vibrator obviously will need to be held so that it stays in place.
Charging And Battery
The toy comes with a magnetic charger. When it’s time to charge the Ferri, the charging cable simply snaps into place. It takes somewhere around an hour to fully charge the toy.
Lovense says that once fully charged, the Ferri can stay active for about 3.5 hours. To be fair, the exact numbers depend on your usage of the vibrator, but I’d say that the vibrator lasts for about 2.5 hours in real-life usage.
Not very impressive, but I think it’s a fair deal!

Lovense App And Features
As with other Lovense vibrators, Ferri connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth and can be controlled by a smartphone app. Once you have the phone and vibe connected and the app running, a whole lot of features become available for the vibrator.
A near unlimited and custom combination of pattern and speed settings become available at your fingertips. It’s also possible to share control of the vibrator with other users over the internet.
Forming this “physical connection” between long-distance relationships has been one of the key drivers of Lovense vibrators. Of course, this feature is common with camgirls and similar professionals as well!
One of the cool features I like is the alarm. Sleep wearing the Ferri, and when it’s time to wake up, the app will start its alarm. Only in this case, rather than making sounds, it sends off vibrations through the Ferri to wake you up. That is a pleasurable way to start your day!
Other interesting features on the app include the possibility to have the Ferri vibrate to sound or music. You could have a phone conversation with your partner and use their voice as the way to manage Ferri’s vibration speed and intensity!

One of the downsides here is the connection between the app and the vibrator. Lovense Ferri appears to have at least some trouble in keeping a steady connection with the phone.
Bluetooth connectivity was an issue with some of Lovense’s earlier models. They fixed it and vibrators like Lovense Lush 3 can go around without dealing with connectivity issues.
So, it’s a bit surprising and unfortunate that Ferri still has to deal with this problem.
Using Lovense Ferri – On Vibration, Power, And Pleasure
One of my favorite things about Ferri is that it so easily attaches itself where I want it. Well, the magnet helps, but the convenience of using it is blissful.
The second thing I like about this vibrator – it appears to know what it’s doing!
Its vibrations are intense and fairly powerful. Depending on how you place the Ferri, you can get something close to pin-point vibrations or have it a bit more spread. Again, I think this is one of the smarter ideas.
Ferri lets off deep and pleasurable vibrations that are an absolute bliss! Its vibrations are pretty strong and they go deep. However, I wouldn’t exactly use the conventional term “rumbly” for these deep vibrations.
Don’t get me wrong. The vibrations are pleasurable and I enjoy them. They just don’t travel that deep and the vibrator has an element of “buzzy” to it. Yet, its buzzy side isn’t enough to put down this vibrator. I’ll happily pleasure myself (and orgasm) using the vibrator as intended!
It’s fun for public play too!
Lovense Ferri stays in place and responds to the smartphone remote rather admirably. It does disconnect occasionally, which is an absolute buzzkill when you’re having a good time. On some disconnections, it needs to go through the whole connection process again. This is a whole other annoying problem if you’re out in public.
It has its flaws, but overall, I’d say I enjoy the Lovense Ferri!
The Noise And The Taillight
Ferri does have a bit of a noise issue, which is something you’d like to remember if you’re using it for public play. As it hits high intensity vibrations and speeds up, it gets noisy. Not very loud, but something that’s discernible.
When you’re using something like the Lush 3 or Lush 2, your body dampens some noise. There is no such barrier with the Lovense Ferri, so the vibrations become apparent.
They might not be so apparent if you’re in a noisy place, but you might occasionally notice them. If you’re someplace quiet, the noise is clear. Just moving to a slower speed can be sufficient to dramatically reduce the noise. So, I’d say this vibrator is occasionally noisy.
The other thing of note is what I call the tail light. This is a small, blinking light towards the back of the Lovense Ferri. The light isn’t very bright and I don’t think it will be visible to anyone. Yet, I’d still recommend doing a quick check before going out with Ferri.
Some fabrics might not be as opaque to the light. And having a blinking light on my crotch is embarrassing, to say the least.
Other than these little issues that are easily dealt with, Ferri remains inconspicuous. If someone went around in public places wearing Ferri, there wouldn’t be any noticeable bump to announce the vibrator’s presence.
Using Lovense Ferri With Manual Controls
It’s not absolutely necessary to use Lovense Ferri with the app. You can use it in standalone mode without the app, although with a diminished array of vibration speeds and patterns.
Pressing the single button on the Ferri for three seconds switches it on. With every subsequent press, it will cycle through the preset pattern and speed settings.
Having Fun With Ferri
