Rose Vibrator Review: The Viral Toy Put To The Test

The Rose vibrator toy rose to heights of popularity by going viral on TikTok. As it went viral, influencers had a lot to say about this toy, with mostly positive reviews. Well, we took the toy to task with this Rose vibrator review, to see where it leads us.

Rose vibrator, as its name implies, is shaped like its namesake flower. Also, though this adult toy is primarily suction-based, some versions might also include vibrations to go along the suction.

As it turns out, there are plenty of Rose Vibrators floating in the market. There are several companies that claim to have been first on the spot, but it’s difficult to confirm. For the sake of clarity, this review is about the Lovehoney Rose Clitoral Suction Stimulator.

Rose Vibrator Overview: Pros And Cons

Pros

  • Strong suction for enjoyable orgasms
  • Lovely and discreet appearance
  • Conveniently sized
  • Waterproof

Cons

  • Non-standard viral adult toy manufactured by many companies, so there’s confusion on features
  • Can get noisy

So, What Is This Rose Vibrator Anyway?

A rose vibrator is simply put, a vibrator shaped like a rose flower. The center of the vibrator has an opening where this works as a no-contact suction vibrator. Now, there are differences between various rose vibrators available.

In some, this suction function is quite similar to conventional clit-sucking sex toys like the Satisfyer Pro 2. In others, the function is reversed and rather than sucking-in air, these vibrators push out small gusts of air. As you can guess, the suction and effect is very different between both these methods.

Additionally, some rose vibrators include a vibration function to go along with the air manipulation. This provides another means of stimulation, cementing their use as clitoral vibrators.

What Makes The Rose Vibrator Different From Other Vibrators

Most vibrators we review and come across usually come with a clear understanding of their manufacturer, marketer, or seller.

For example, we know that the Lovense Dolce comes from the company Lovense and is a dual-stimulation g-spot and clit vibrator. We can clearly talk of its features, expectations, and behavior.

The rose vibrator doesn’t give us this luxury. It gained fame by viral videos and TikTok. As people rushed to buy the vibrator, a huge number of vendors, sellers, and dropshippers showed up to fulfill the demand.

As such, there are countless versions of the rose vibrator floating on the market. And of course, since the trend and hype continues, a whole lot of people are buying these vibrators. There are variations as well, like rose vibrators with egg-vibrator add-ons and similar changes.

What most of them have in common is a rose-like shape.

This is a point where a reviewer has to be careful, as does the buyer. I prefer my sex toys to come from a reliable source.

This works well for the reliability of the purchase, as well as other factors like construction and build-quality. These features, in turn, also affect the hygiene of the vibrator and its uses.

So, when I started with this review of the rose vibrator, I chose a toy that’s from a trusted source and with good quality assurance.

As noted earlier, this review focuses on the Lovehoney Rose Clitoral Suction Stimulator. Other notable rose vibrator options are Inya the Rose and Adorime Rose Lover.

Getting Acquainted With The Rose Clitoral Suction Stimulator

Initial Impressions Of The Rose Vibrator

Lovehoney Rose Vibrator has that classic rose design. It could probably pass off as an imitation flower if viewed from the side. Get close, though, and you’d see the buttons. But even more prominent here is the opening in the middle of the vibrator.

This is where the suction magic happens, though its presence changes from being a simple rose.

I do like the overall design, though. The petals and the rose are very well arranged and the aesthetic looks stunning. The “petals” eventually lead us to the central opening, or the tube that does the clit-sucking.

As you’d expect, this tube is raised high and is clear of surrounding petals on the sex toy. That’s a sensible design choice, since this is the part that will be in direct contact with the body.

The Design And Appearance

The vibrator does a pretty good job of looking like a rose. The silicone construction also helps with this appearance, and even has that velvety-soft touch.

On one side of the toy, or rather, on one of its petals, you’ll find two buttons. These are the ones you’ll use to control the intensity settings of the vibrator. Interestingly, one of the buttons is raised, while the other is flat, but marked by a raised ring around it.

This alignment helps with the tactical feel of the buttons. When you’re using the vibrator, you’d know which button increases or decreases the intensity, simply by the tactile feel. An LED ring comes to light around each button when the vibrator is in use.

While clearly visible, it’s not very bright and helps overall with the aesthetics and looks of the rose sex toy.

The vibrator body is made from silicone and is body-safe. It’s also latex-free, which helps with greater confidence in the silicone build of the vibrator.

One aspect I didn’t find much useful is the base. It’s plastic with a metallic paint. It helps the vibrator stay upright and stable. It’s a nice touch, since keeping this round/cylindrical toy on its side means that it can roll away.

However, I feel that it looks out of place and doesn’t quite match with the overall aesthetic of the finely crafted rose petals that otherwise look amazing on this toy.

The toy is 3-inch tall and has a diameter of about 2.2-inch at its thickest point. The overall circumference is 7-inch. Overall, the rose is easy to hold in the hand and convenient to use.

Battery And Waterproofing Of The Lovehoney Rose

Lovehoney says that the toy is rated at IPX7. This means that the rose is waterproof and submersible. This makes it possible to use the toy in several spots, including the shower and the bathtub.

It also makes cleaning the toy easier, since you don’t have to worry about water damage while cleaning it.

Many rose vibrator type toys choose to have a magnetic connector at the bottom. Lovehoney hasn’t taken this route. As already noted, there’s a plastic/metallic base at the bottom to keep the toy stable.

Instead, this one puts the charger on to a side. It’s located directly opposite to the spot where the buttons are. The USB charger doesn’t come with a wall plug, so you’ll either have to buy one separately, or charge it through the USB port on your computer.

Once fully charged, the toy offers a playtime of about an hour. This is a pretty good offering for a suction toy. There’s a good chance you’ll be done a whole lot sooner than that and be able to use the toy multiple times without needing another charge.

A Closer Setting – Reviewing The Rose While In Use

The Power And Use Of The Rose Toy

Lovehoney Rose is a very interesting toy to use. It’s not much about power. In fact, you may feel that the Lovehoney Rose puts out less power than most of its competitors.

Some users even feel that the Lovehoney Rose at its max intensity shows less power than its competitors at their minimum intensity setting.

I’d argue that low power isn’t really a negative here. For most users, the high power that suction vibrators like to put out can be overwhelming. So, the gentle touch that Lovehoney Rose starts with, can feel so much better.

And for those who enjoy oral sex, this power is more than enough. As a suction vibrator, the Rose doesn’t leave much to be desired. It feels good and the suction action is gentle, yet pleasantly noticeable even at the lowest setting.

Crank the power higher, and you’ll feel that this toy does exactly what it set out to do – delivering orgasmic pleasure!

I liked the gentle moves of this Rose and its supposed lack of power didn’t seem to hinder its function. It remained enjoyable and the buildup was fantastic.

To be clear, it took me longer to orgasm with this toy, when compared to the Satisfyer Pro 2. On the upside, I really enjoyed the buildup before the big O finally arrived.

The buttons and controls were always easy to access and the toy easy to use and keep in place.

As with suction toys, remember to use generous amounts of lube with the Lovehoney Rose. That’s because the nozzle (or tip) of the toy will form a suitable seal with the lubricant. This enables the suction to work as intended and also shows in the form of greater control for the user.

The Noise Part

I found that the Lovehoney Rose wasn’t as noisy as the usual suction vibrators. Usually, suction vibrators are quiet when pressed against the body. However, their noise becomes very apparent as soon as you lift them up.

The Lovehoney Rose isn’t that noisy, but I’d categorize it as “somewhat noisy”. If you don’t want anyone outside the room to get any ideas, use it with some background noise. Some nice and decently loud music will muffle the sound of the vibrator while also setting the mood.

The Viral Toy

Rose vibrator’s stunning and viral succcess is fantastic to look at. The rose-like shape of the vibrator makes it discreet and helps with the overall aesthetics. I suppose these were key factors in the viral success of this vibrator.

Though as we note in this Rose vibrator review, this toy doesn’t come from a single brand or manufacturer. There are several companies and sellers offering this toy, and they might all bring different features to the table. The buyer needs to exercise caution when picking their toy.

This review takes a look at the Lovehoney Rose Vibrator, which is a fantastic and good-looking option to pick. The toy is decently powerful, has great looks, and is made from body-safe materials.

But most of all, it’s a wonderful package of orgasmic goodness!
